Following a change to the commodity code structure, polycarbonate infant feeding bottles previously classified under 3924100020 are now covered by 3924100090 as of 6 May 2026.

To import polycarbonate infant feeding bottles, please declare using document code C055: Declaration of compliance (Annex IV of Regulation (EU) No 10/2011).

To import all other goods falling under 3924100090, please declare using waiver document code 9Y51: Exemption from the requirement to provide a Declaration of compliance (Annex IV of Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011) on import.

Please note, two new footnotes have also been added to this Restriction on entry into free circulation measure:

  • CD794: Use document code 9Y51 if your product does not require a declaration of compliance under Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. Complete statement ‘Regulation 10/2011 Exempt’. Use of this code constitutes a legal declaration that the consignment does not require a declaration of compliance under Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 to be produced on import. Sufficient evidence must be held in records to demonstrate eligibility for this exemption and must be produced on demand.
  • CD801: The requirement to provide a declaration of compliance only applies to polycarbonate baby bottles under this commodity code.

This change takes effect from 15 May 2026.
