Update to trade remedies countervailing on optical fibre cables from China:
The United Kingdom’s countervailing measures on optical fibre cables from China have been made definitive.
This will come into effect from 24 October 2023. Further details can be found in a prior Stop Press Notice
Impacted Commodity Codes:
This update will impact the below commodity code. If you are an importer you will need to use additional codes 8B06 or 8B07, 8B08 .

Update to trade remedies anti-dumping on optical fibre cables from People’s Republic of China:
The United Kingdom’s anti-dumping measures on optical fibre cables from People’s Republic of China have been made definitive.
This will come into effect from 24 October 2023. Further details can be found in the Trade remedies notice 2023/22: definitive anti-dumping duty on optical fibre cables originating in the People’s Republic of China
